Circle of Hope Recognizes Breast Cancer Awareness Month
First launched in 1985, Breast Cancer Awareness Month became the first organized effort to bring widespread attention to breast cancer. Each October Circle of Hope recognizes Breast Cancer Awareness Month with its’ annual event, 31 Days of Hope, to help increase attention and support for the awareness, early detection and treatment of this disease. Every year, Circle of Hope fills each day in October with opportunities to spread awareness of breast cancer along with other cancers and to raise valuable funds to assist those fighting cancer in our community. For 31 continuous days, the organization can be found reaching out to the community through advocacy, beneficiary events, speaking engagements, publications and any other activity that could have the potential of making a difference to those with cancer and to bring awareness of cancer prevention.
During 31 Days of Hope, the Santa Clarita community has partnered with Circle of Hope in assisting those with cancer by raising valuable funds needed to help assist cancer patients in need that cannot afford their life saving cancer treatments. The funds that are raised through these events help make possible the programs and financial assistance services that Circle of Hope offers to those with cancer in our community.

Circle of Hope provides emotional, educational and financial assistance along with supportive wellness therapies and support groups to the Santa Clarita Valley cancer community. West Ranch Girls Volleyball vs. Saugus
Help us pink out the gym! Wear pink and cheer on the teams as West Ranch Girls Volleyball supports breast cancer awareness. All proceeds benefit Circle of Hope.
Saturday, October 10 | 15th Annual Heels and Wheels Breast Cancer Ride
Take part in this annual ride supporting breast cancer awareness as part of Circle of Hope’s 31 Days of Hope.
Tuesday, October 13 | Dine for a Cause at Patron’s Mexican Grill
Time: 3 p.m. to closing

Thursday, October 15 | Aroma Ramen Fundraiser
Hours: 11:30 a.m.–3 p.m. and 4:30–9 p.m.
Location: Aroma Ramen, 27530 Newhall Ranch Road, Unit 109, Valencia, CA 91355
Dine in or order takeout and help support local cancer patients and their families. Aroma Ramen will donate 20% of sales to Circle of Hope. Mention Circle of Hope or show the event flyer when ordering.

Friday, October 23 | Pink Under the Stars

Hosted by: Confetti & Connection SCV
An evening of gratitude, local vendors and community connection benefiting Circle of Hope. Donate by October 23 and show your confirmation at the gathering for a special raffle entry and a ribbon for the Gratitude Tree of Hope.
Saturday, October 24 | Witches’ Walk on Main Street

Donation: $5 per walk participant
Gather your friends and dress in your witchy best for an evening supporting Circle of Hope. Check in at The Break Room, visit our donation table and enjoy time to mingle before the official SCV Witches’ Walk group photo.
Following the photo, we will share a short welcome and honor a Cancer Warrior who will lead the walk through Old Town Newhall. Explore participating businesses throughout the evening for Witches’ Walk specials, a witchy mystery and fun surprises.
